Welcome to my web site! For those of you wondering about the name, "Mockingbird Hill" is the title of an old song I love, and so I call my farm and business that, also. I live on the farm with my "kids"-- donkeys, sheep, chickens, cats, and a dog. I graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute, and am currently employed doing graphics for a company in North Kansas City. I am available for doing any of the type of work shown in the Kansas City area. My photography studio is "on wheels"-- I come to you! If you want to set up your family or children in a favorite local park, that can definitely be arranged. If you are interested in more formal photographs, I bring the "studio" to your home. That means baby is at home and feels content. You can change outfits- or change the baby, if need be. There isn't a time schedule or someone waiting impatiently for their turn. That creates an optimum atmosphere for capturing the "specialness" of each tiny person. I focus on the child (rather than elaborate set-ups or props), and especially enjoy capturing the bond between an adult and child. I occasionally add new pictures to the site, so please come back and visit again.
